Roy is a country boy boy growing up in rural Arkansas. Roy loved listening to music from a very early age. Then something happened on a summer's ride with his truck driver father that changed Roy's life for ever. He heard John Denver singing "Take Me Home Country Roads" on the radio. It was a magical time. He went home and wrote his first song. Now from stages around the world the remarkable voice and inspired musicianship, encyclopedic knowledge, sunny smile and gentle wit of Roy Rivers pays tribute to one of the world's best known and most loved performers of all time, John Denver.
